The hotel is on the main boulevard and it is a short walk (10 min) to El Centro and it is probably a 20 minute walk to the Cathedral where main tourist visit. I did like the location of the hotel, aesthetically the hotel is very nice, but old. They did follow Covid protocols, however the doubt of the room being sanitize was a concern. There was minimal staff, the restaurant's staff are very friendly and efficient, however the food was not good. My package included the breakfast, I only used it 2 in a 4 night stay. There was what appear to be a bar, but it was not open during our stay, that would have been really nice to have had during our time there. The restaurant is not open during the evening hours, which was another notch. Our room, I selected a King Size Suite, expecting it to be a medium to large size room. I also requested two rooms to be together. Upon my stay, I was not given adjoining rooms, I had to go back down and request the rooms to be changed, which went from 2 Kings size rooms, to 1 King/1 Double (Dbl beds are small) for the same price. I reluctantly accepted, because they were adjoining. Toiletries are very limited; such as towels, soap, etc. The rooms are small, but somewhat comfortable. Not all lights are functioning and AC was not operating to our expectations. You needed your room key to keep lights and AC on, if you stepped out, make sure to have another key card. they demagnetize easily, we were constantly going down to get them programmed again.
